To the Officers and Members of Grand Lodge Knights of Pythias, Grand Court Order of Calanthe and all Subordinate Lodges & Courts:
In a sign that the U.S. government is taking the COVID-19 pandemic much more seriously, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has issued a grave recommendation, telling Americans to avoid gatherings of more than 10 people or more to slow the spread of the virus.
Therefore, I Michael Spivey, Grand Chancellor Jurisdiction of Florida, as a precaution with the health and well-being of our members, family and friends, do hereby issue this dispensation to canceled this year’s Grand Lodge Session scheduled for May 15 thru May 19, 2020 P.P. CXL.
