On March 20th, Pride of Tallahassee Court #61 celebrated their Annual Appreciation and Fellowship Night. Sister Faye Brown, Worthy Counsellor of Pride of Tallahassee, #61 awarded members for outstanding service to the court.

Members of R. A. Driesbach, Sr. Lodge #77, Knights of Pythias – Port St. Joe, Florida sponsored a Bike Rodeo and Bicycle Safety Check for elementary and middle school age children. The rodeo was held on Tuesday, March 13 at the Washington Recreation Center. The goal of the bicycle rodeo was to provide an opportunity for the participants to learn, practice, and demonstrate their bicycle handling skills in a fun, noncompetitive atmosphere.

The Grand Lodge Knights of Pythias and Grand Court Order of Calanthe Annual Workshop was held at the Radisson Hotel in Jacksonville, Florida, Friday and Saturday, February 17-18. The theme for this year’s workshop was “Health and Lifestyle Related Behaviors”. A good time was had by all.

Annual Pythian Anniversary Thanksgiving Celebration
Supreme Chancellor Donald Austin has declared Sunday,
March 25, 2012 for the observance of Anniversary
Thanksgiving Day. All Pythians, Calantheans, all
branches of the Order are directed to assemble jointly
in a church for the Thanksgiving Service.
Sir Austin in proclaiming observance of Anniversary
Thanksgiving Day stated, “. . . we are grateful that our
forefathers established a Pythian Thanksgiving Service,
to help us to not forget the goodness of God and of his
new mercies he showers upon us every day.”
